We are experienced and knowledgeable Doberman breeders. In fact, we are experienced dog people with a span of 25 years professional experience in the dog arena. Our first love long ago was the Rottweiler. We enjoyed our time with these wonderful guys in both the AKC dog show ring and the working sport of schutzhund. Unfortunately, as is the story for many wonderful breeds, breed popularity took over and put aside what is good for the breed as a whole, and we watched our beloved Rottweiler’s fall apart right before our very eyes.

A few years went by after our last beloved Rottweiler male passed away.  We soon realized how lonely we were living in a home that had no dog. At that time we turned to the German Shepherd. However, the American AKC style German Shepherd made our jaws drop in absolute shock. How could such overangulated rear ends, weak front ends, and small bone perform the work that they were bred to do? Absolutley impossible.

True to form, we contacted our friends in Europe and brought home a strong, healthy, square, heavy boned and properly angulated shepherd. While we love German Shepherds with all of our hearts, dealing with a surplous of the hair was a job in that of itself. While we brushed each dog diligently three times per week and gave a bath once per month, the shedding always won out. Dog hair was in the closet, in the refrigerator, all over clothes, all over the car, and generally all over the house no matter how much we vacuumed, washed and groomed. While we adore this magnificent breed, the liability of the hair was the final deterrent.

Again, we were without a dog for another couple of years. With a proven affinity for the working and guard group of dogs, we pondered the prospects of the Doberman. For both obedience competition and show. We looked diligently for over a year in the USA to find Doberman breeders that bred these beautiful animals to our strict standards. We looked at over 50 Doberman kennels and were dismayed to find that no kennel in the USA met our criteria.

Once again, we turned to our friends in Europe for help. Through our friends in Europe, we found many reputable European Doberman breeders who were more than willing to help us meet our goals by sending us healthy, large boned and beautiful animals in order to assist us with our  breeding program in the USA.

If not for our friends in Europe, we would not be the Doberman breeders we are today. It is difficult to get most Doberman breeders in Europe to communicate with anyone from the US market as they are very aware of the plight of US bred Dobermans. This makes many a European Doberman breeder suspicious of selling their stock outside the country. With this in mind, and as serious, competitive and dedicated Doberman breeders, we are beyond thrilled to offer you Dobermans that are superior in every way.

We as Doberman Breeders realize that the majority of people who purchase Dobermans simply want a beautiful, healthy and dependable family pet. However, we do love placing our puppies in show, obedience and working homes.
