About Schutzhund

We are experienced Schutzund people with multiple titles earned in this sport.

American Bred Dobermans have a bad reputation in Working Ring sports due to the fact that they are generally unable to complete with success all of the phases of the protection type sports which includes Personal Protection Dog Training, French Ring Sport, Schutzhund and Mondio Ring Sport. Elite dogs must be able to pass all phases of each sport, which includes off leash obedience, tracking and protection exemplified by solid bite work.

In addition, the future owners of our dogs deserve nothing less than the very best. Whether they are Police Canine Officers or simply families seeking a reliable and sturdy guardian that stands above the rest.

There is nothing worse than purchasing a dog that cannot ultimately perform the protection phase of any of these sports. Just ask any Canine Officer or Military Handler about this. It is guaranteed that the majority of them has had a bad experience or two and has ended up purchasing a dog that is not able to perform its duties with regard to the upper level obedience and protection phases of any of these trials.

It is our intention to provide dogs with the ability to be incredible family companions and also dogs with the ability to service  police and miliary professionals alike.  Should a dog arrive at our residence that cannot meet this criterion, they are immediately spayed or nutured. These are not the genes  we pass along to future litters of our European Dobermans.

It is unfortunate for us that the distance to our closest schutzhund field make is difficult to train on a regular basis. However, in order to make sure that our Dobermans are worthy of professional ownership, we do go through the effort to make sure that their bite instinct is fully intact.
